Create one runoff and microclimate strategy diagram for a small site.

Choose a small site, for example study pavilion, classroom courtyard, bus-stop shelter, small community room, tiny library, café terrace, entrance zone or outdoor waiting area.

Draw one simple site plan or site section. Show building, entry, path, seating and outdoor surface.

Mark high point and low point. Add slope direction.

Draw roof water direction. Show where water falls or is collected.

Draw ground runoff path. Show whether water moves toward or away from entry.

Mark one entry protection issue, for example puddle, splash zone or wet threshold.

Mark surface types. Show impermeable surface, permeable surface, hot paving or planted zone.

Mark shade and hot surface zones. Show where outdoor comfort is weak or improved.

Add planting or landscape cooling strategy, for example tree shade, rain garden, swale, permeable strip or planted low area.

Draw bad, normal and good versions.

Add 3 design decisions and one trade-off note.
