Train student to diagnose sustainability problems before proposing green solutions.

Create one Sustainability Diagnosis Diagram for a small architectural fragment or project.

Choose one small project or fragment, for example school study pavilion, courtyard shelter, bus stop shelter, classroom facade bay, entrance canopy, library reading corner, outdoor classroom or window wall.

Draw the project fragment in the center of the page.

Add five diagnosis zones around it: energy, water, carbon and materials, health and comfort, resources and waste.

In each zone, write one specific problem. Do not write “not sustainable”. Name the actual issue, for example overheating, runoff, glare, waste or material impact.

In each zone, write one possible strategy that responds to the problem.
- 06
Add at least one evidence note for each strategy, for example sun section, water path map, lifecycle note, IEQ section or repair detail.
- 07
Draw short arrows from the central project to each diagnosis zone.
- 08
Add one trade-off sentence. Explain what improves and what requires maintenance, cost, care or another consequence.

Keep all labels short and readable.
