Create one Site Ecology Strategy Map for a small outdoor site or fragment.

Choose one small outdoor site, for example school study pavilion courtyard, outdoor classroom area, bus stop shelter site, library courtyard, entrance plaza, school garden edge, shaded seating area or paved courtyard retrofit.

Draw a simple site map. Show boundary or study area, building or shelter, path, seating and main surfaces.

Mark hard surfaces and soft or planted surfaces.

Add stormwater or runoff arrows. Show where water comes from and where it goes.

Add one infiltration strategy, for example rain garden, swale, permeable edge or planted low area.

Mark heat island risk or hot surface zone.
- 07
Add shade zone and outdoor comfort zone. Make sure shade covers where people actually sit, wait or walk.

Add habitat or native planting zone.
- 09
Add one maintenance note, for example clean inlet, remove sediment, care for planting or protect soil.

Add one trade-off sentence.
